Somebody stop me!! im selling my TII

Im thinkin about selling my 87 TII. I bought it about two months ago and have done nothing but work on it, $1000 later and flood issues start. Im getting fed up. I know fc's are the greatest thats why i need some words of encouragement to keep it!
its fast( for stock with minor upgrades) but i dont want to have to drop another $1000 in it just to get it reliable. I got a fuel pump switch installed for the flooding issue. But that could be a temp band-aid to a timebomb. The whole reason I bought it was b/c it was "supposed" to have a rebuilt s5 swap. I found that out quickly upon minor tweaks. it has a s4 engine with s4 parts incl the turbo.

So basically you're asking us to say keep it. What's the point of your whole idea...

Keep it, it's great! I can't believe you're selling it!

so, you're asking us to say "keep it"? Alright...

KEEP IT!

There.

JK! you should keep it man. A flooded engine isn't that hard to fix, you just gotta stick with it!

No, i dont expect folks to just say keep it. but doesn't it seem like the only way to fix the prob would be a rebuild. another one...
I just need the damn thing to start when i turn the key!

the flooding might be leaking injectors have you tried that? my n/a used to flood alot i installed a fuel cut off switch and used to kill the pump to relive fuel pressure and let the car die from lack of fuel then when i was going to drive again i would flip the switch and crank and would start every time. that is till i cad the injectors done over bye rc engineering then no need for cut off any more.

gotta have patience working on these..
advice:
keep weekends open..ready to do more repairs
always have another car
do compression test get the numbers then go from there about selling or keeping.
should have done a little more hw and a compression test before buying
