Sokie Tech!

Just info if anyone was looking at purchasing the sokie tech hood dampers off ebay. They were very easy install and they work GREAT! But DO NOT expect a fast delivery, its shipped out of country and must go through customs as well as the USPS system.....which that right there speaks for itself. Here are some pics installed!

Regardless if someone else did it or not, that is a danger if those ever leaked man. Seriously bad **** there and you know how Murphy's Law works...

Other then that the engine bay is very clean and hood dampners ran you how much?

My hood is aluminum. The kit was roughly $70 shipped.

So off topic here, to fix this fuel regulator issue......do I just unbolt the mount and move the mount to the other side or what?

it looks like all those fittings are there because the fpr doesnt have a port to hook up the gauge directly. i would just unbolt the fpr from the firewall and move it to the other side.

NEVER good to have fuel directly over that heat source man. Seriously that is just poor maintenance practices there. No dis-respect to the OP but the "shop" should ******* know better.

I would save the money you are planning on spending on hood dampers... and buy an aluminum hood if you are planning on using them w/ a steel hood. just my .02
