So I heard you guys like old HKS gauges.

So I have the old HKS boost gauge and I thought I would be fine with just that but after getting serious with my build I decided I needed more gauges. ALL of my gauges in my cluster are broken except for the tach and the speedometer. Started searching around and bam! Found these and picked them up fast. Even has another boost gauge lol. The 3 in the din are oil pressure, oil temp, and water temp.

Pretty happy that everything matches but I can't decide on how to mount them. I would like them more visible than the din pockets. Any ideas?

A side note, while I was looking for these I found a whole bunch of this series. Exhaust temp was the most non rare and was the cheapest. Oil pressure was more harder to find as well as the temp ones. I'm glad I found this set that had everything I needed.

Nice find! I always liked those gauges. What units are they though? Cuz while I'm all for matching, reading temp in C° and boost in bar, kpa, our whatever those make believe units on the stick gauge are, would be pretty wack.

As far as mounting, they would look badass in the cluster, and be much easier to see, what size are they?

There are a set of 3 old school HKS on ebay...been on there for a while. I think it's Pressure, Temp and Volt. And it's coming from China.

haha yeah well the temp ones are in celcius but my boost gauge is in psi so thats cool. Oil pressure is in kg/cm^2. I REALLY would love to see them in the cluster.. they are 52mm so I could probably fit at least two in there.

At least? Lol. At max ( and that's assuming you remove the fuel level gauge)

If I were you I'd think about doing a double A pillar pod and then do one of those mickey mouse ears pod adapter thingies that goes over the main cluster. I believe Retro-spec sells them..might even have them in carbon fiber if that's your kinda thing.

once you get used to the units , its not bad to translate them in your head.

Rommel's car is JDM to the bone so it matches lol

Are the HKS gauges electric or mechanical? Im also into matching too, but mechanical gauges are accurate and they work even if the car is not running (water temp, oil temp) so Autometer is never a bad choice, Im digging the ES series but very nice find.
