Should I trade my BBS' for FR500 Reps?

Hey guys I don;'t post around in here much showing my dick but I wanted to get your input.
I've got an old set of authentic complete BBS RS' I'm selling because I don't want to put the time into refinishing them. I got them for cheap and just want to turn them for a set of wheels and tires. They're 16x7 +38.
My goal is to sell them and buy a set of wheels at least 17x9 w/ decent tires.

A guy has offered to trade me stright up for some FR500 rep wheels. Rears are 17x10.5 +27et with 275/40/17 almost new Sumitomo all-seasons. Front are 17x9 +29et w/ 235/45/17 hankook Ventus' that need replaced soon.
They are clean, no curbs or bends.
Here's a pic of one of the rears.

What size spacers would I need to run to clear my suspension, I don't mind rolling the **** out of my fenders.

I want to put them on my GTUs for everyday driving. These are way too big and heavy for autocross, I have some R-comps and 15's for that.

Do you think it's worth it?

Come on man, they're so in style. Just like yours. You're the BBS expert, you can flip them in no time.

you could sell your rs and buy a set of wheels that arent replicas. Hell, I sold my forged r33 gtr wheels that are 17x9 for 550 lol.

either that or save up.

Corrected

If they were a desirable size I would say sell them. (of course that would mean refinishing them to get top dollar, which u have expressed no desire to do) So you might as well trade them

That's what my plan is. Some guy PM'ed me and offered the FR reps for a straight trade.
I'd rather take the cash and buy some legit cobra wheels. I just wanted to see what you all think about the FR's.

I also know I could rebuild the RS' and do 16x9 with 3.5" lips.... But I don't care about spending the money on looks. I've never been the kinda guy to ***** out pics of my car. I'm looking for function over form. I want more meat on the road.

I literally got these for less than the price of a set of stock wheels... because the guy I bought them from thought they were stock vert wheels.

I'm gonna pass on the FR's. They probably weigh too much and the tires aren't stellar.

Can we get a picture of your car? Trying to picture this in my head just isn't working.

did you have tires on the BBS RS? Those FR500 are not my favorite wheels , there are a few other mustang wheels that look pretty good. but if you are in need of some tires then go for it.
