Should I paint my Phone Dials

I want to paint my phone dials black with chrome lip. I have an example of what it would look like because I painted my Spare tire that way.
Heres how my spare looks and how I want my phone dials to look.

Yes, paint them. As long as you do it well it'll look fine. My dad had been painting the phone dials on my white FC daily driver when he handed it down to me, and I've continued the trend:

FC 1
FC 2

painted dials are still painted dials, just look even crappier and lack of taste. Just leave them alone in my opinion.

So I painted the rear tires. Just to see if it looked good. Looks better in person. I like it, tell me what you think. Then i'll show you with all four painted.

That's actually not bad. I usually hate painted stock wheels, but yours look much better than the typical 'dripping and uneven coat of shitty spray paint' that you always see.

Phone dials are still phone dials in the end, but if you paint them you get a few more months out of not hating them.

I painted mine all black when I rocked them, looked better than dirty chipping clear.

Looks like you painted them well.

Hypertek: Don't listen to the lames. 14's = lame. Phone dials = the pinnacle of lame.
That being said.... those are the cleanest dials I've ever seen.

However time wasted painting phone dials is time better spent scrounging the yard for a 5 lug swap and some real wheels.

Lol, as a matter of fact that painted/polished spare looks much better and you wouldn't be giving up much width...

Also can you tell me the dimensions of both tires and wheels?
