please keep an update with a review... people have said that the fd one is a decent power adder and still keeps good idle and driving isnt effected. which is all good things, not to mention its a good looking piece. How was install with the tps? i've heard mixed reviews on some of their parts not fitting as easy as they should.

Thanks very much

interested on a review as well
would be best if you had back to back dyno results between stock and the RW TB

I think flooring it in low RPM's will be the biggest issue

Drivability should be fine once it is tuned. But you'll find you probably need twice as much accel enrichment than with the stock progressive throttle, and you'll need about 20% more fuel idle and low throttle to compensate for the lack of air velocity at the primary ports.

Well the whole conversion was very easy. But I sujest that before you get the throttle body you hunt down the parts for the tps setup.

You need the tps sensor, tps connector (if you dont want you use spade crimp termails and internal part off the throttle body that touches the tps sensor as the accelerator is pressed moving the shaft open and closed.

I was lucky that I knew the right people that were able to just sell me the bits off an fd throttle body that they had handy.

Wiring it up was easy there is 4 wires on the fd tps one that you dont use.. As the s4 tps that I had only had 3 wires... ground, signal and 5v.

They sent me Allen key bolts with the kit. But only 3 of which were too short.. You can still use the stand nuts like I did seeing how I was on a low budget just after paying for the unit.

Once fitted I had found that I had to adjust the accelerator pedal cable.. And yet it still idles a little higher... and when i took it for a drive i also found that it has a bit of a flat spot. But yet I can really tell the difference though... it feels like there is a bit more power there, and faster getting to it.

I’m very pleased with the whole expenece though. Right from the email to rotary-works confirming my purchase, to the fitting of it. It only took 5 days to get to my door in New Zealand from the states.

and for who asked, my fuel set up starts with the standard pump feeding a 4ltr surge tank then a boosh 044 feeding it up to the found to the turbo smart pro fuel reg, then out 2x550cc primaries and hks 2x1000cc seconderies and another 2x550cc extras

here is a better and newer pic that i took today
