sry about the poor quality.. steering wheel and seats are from an 85 rx7.

3rd pic is of my custom tranny mount.

I just picked this up today.

I'm finished with the swap now and am getting ready to paint it white and throw on this down pipe and weld up a custom exhaust for it

I used the font harness from the JDM S5 Clip. The only MAJOR mods was wiring it up to the rear S4 harness. Nothing is plug and play. not even the door electronics

A thick plate of steal with a bend to match up to the holes in the frame. Then another steal plate was welded onto and that attached to the bottom part of the tranny mount. I took the tranny mount apart because i only needed to use half of it.

Fail.

you do not have to make a 3+ foot piece of thick steel for a tranny mount.

And screwing a bunch of 2X4 together for an outline is much harder then what i have done.

Its not 3 foot thick but 3 foot long, i actually think it might be shorter. Its been 3 years since ive done that converion. I think its easier to cut 2 times and drill 4 holes than to do all the cutting and drilling and welding you had to do.
