Rant on previous owners and seats
So I went out today to strip my interior and can't get the seats out of the car. I noticed that the seats sit lower than any fc I've had.
Well I get down there, and somehow the seats are so low that I can't get my hand underneath the damn things. They also have no sliders at all. What the hell did they do to the seats?! And HOW did they fit their hands under there to bolt them back in?!
Also it appears that my sound deadening material has bubbled up right in front of the inner rear bolt on each side of the car. Can't get a socket on them.
Guess I'll just have to grind them off with a dremel or something.

My previous owner had exposed wire all around the speakers and in the radio.
it looked like he was so cheap he couldn't afford speaker wire... just wanted to continue the rant on previous owners

my previous owner fixed a leaking pulsation dampner by shoving some JB weld looking **** into the cavity where the screw sits. eventually the JB weld stuff expanded and forced the rubber membrane valve thing shut, so not fuel could flow past the primary into the secondary rail.

The whole sliding mechanism is gone. It's like the seat brackets are bolted straight to the seats. Also there is a bubble of stiff material bulging right in front of the bolts. I can feel the bolts.
Also PO failed to mention the car being on fire at one point.

have you looked under the car? maybe they some how bolted straight through the floor haha.
my previous owner was a lover of dodgy wiring splicing everywhere, running the battery relocation cable under the car along the fuel lines (well done dumbass) had the front adjustables the wrong way round so almost no camber was acheivable (in his defence on most other cars there is no wrong way) had one of the rear adjustables the wrong way round so it fouled. drilled holes in the a pillar trims for tweeters and put a hole in the stereo/a.c/vent surround for a horrible missle switch. And best of all destroyed the center of the finish line front bumper lower for a front mount (which i managed to fit with far less shaving of the regular factory bumper) oh and he must have at some point spilled bourbon or something on the rear carpet which now lines my bin but hey it gave me an excuse to strip my car out. huff....puff...puff...im done

Haha we finally got them out. Basically the whole metal bracing under the seat was bent down. So apparently the PO weighed somewhere around 9 tons.

This doesn't have anything to do with rx7s bit I aligned a dodge truck at work the other day the customer put ball joints in himself. Still drifted right so I crossed the front tires to make sure it wasn't a radial pull. Long story short I had to replace three studs because he could not start lug nuts right and this guy installed his on balljoints. Really scary thought and his truck now pulls left to a out of round tire but he's getting a second opinion.

PO had lower mileage engine installed by 'labor'. Supplied 'labor' with new engine and wiring harness. 'Labor' cut every wire under the hood and dash and spliced it back together. PO then advertises car on eBay as in 'good condition', and my dad buys her. PO claims to be in Cali, actually in Mexico (car titled in Cali). Forgets to mention car is barely running. Ends-up taking months just to respond to emails about the car's repair status.
Now, I'm replacing the water pump and the PO apparently used RTV instead of a real gasket and coolant leaked into the fastener bores over time. One of the bolt heads sheared right off, the alternator bracket bolt's blind hole is for all intents and purposes stripped, and the studs are rusted seized inside the housing.
