Put Italian meshies on the 87 T2... 16x7

I found a good deal on a set of 16x7 Speedline meshies (made in italy)..

They have some tires on them with a LITTLE too much sidewall but overall they look sweet. I am working on refinishing them and polishing up the lips. These have a mean offset just need a smaller tire...

repaint the surface gunmetal with polished lip and fabricate up a new flush center cap.

I have the smaller lip version with an offset of +8. I believe it''s the same offset as the larger lip ones.

Although, I never had problems clearing my brakes. They stick out like 1 1/2 inches more than OEM Mazda wheels so I'm curious why there's a problem...

Do you have 4 pot brakes in the front? I cant remember...

They only needed 1/16th of an inch to clear... It was weird...

I think the big lip looks good in the back, but the medium lip looks better in front. Pair it with some 50 series tires and refinish the face in gunmetal...mmm...
