making progress with the turbo II. yesterday i took some time to fix the seats. mainly the drivers side bolster. it was spliced in half like most bolsters, we pulled the seats out of the car and uncovered the drivers side and pulled it out We fixed it with spray glue and some mattress foam. we were pleased but we still switched it with the passenger seats left side bolster. Both sides look very good.

Then we went to pull-a-part in Louisville and picked up a mazda 626 lip. test fit it on a rx7 on the lot and it was really close to what i wanted. Took it home, sanded it, fit it,painted it with spray can bed-liner. Then re fit it and installed.

Now im working on the common wiper switch problem. and my turn signal canceling switcher is broken. so excuse the taken apart interior.

 

wow man smart find for that lip. what model was that 626? lx,gt??

 

I don't really know the car at the pull-a-part was so picked over i couldn't tell. think it was a 89 though?

 

soon i am going to paint my calipers and my rear tail light housings

 

Nice! Not a fan of the 626 lip so much, the fact that it misses the mark on the sides bugs me.
