whatever 2 stroke.. usually castrol gtx and the ammount i add varies with how much fuel i put in.

Remember though, oil is heaver then fuel, so oil will sit at the bottom of the gas tank

I use Idemitsu Premix. You can find it here:

http://mazdatrix.com/q-supply.htm

The ratio I use is .5oz oil:1g gas

I use Valvoline multi-purpose 2-cycle

2-cycle is made to mix with fuel.

I run about 1oz per gallon of fuel since I've removed the OMP.

sorry to hijack, but does anyone notice a difference to when you would add the oil to the tank. What i mean is adding it before you fill the tank or after or along those lines.

I always add pre-mix first. That way it'll wash the premix down the tube and hopefully mix better.

To the OP, I just use whatever is cheapest at Wal-Mart or the gas station. No issues what so ever.

I run .5oz to 1 gallon. I have an S4 OMP, but lately the car hasn't been consuming very much oil, so I'm premixing too just in case.

I use SuperTech brand from wally world. seems ok and its $8 for a gallon jug. I usually dump 7-14 ounces into the tank before a fill up depending on what the tank level is. Make sure it's ashless or it will smoke a mega ton.

The car is street driven so I don't see a need for more than 1/2 - 1 ounce per gallon. It's not rocket science. Just find a bottle with MLs or ounces imprinted on it to measure and eyeball maybe 10 ounces or so and dump it in. As long as your not hitting 8000RPM all day you don't need any more.
