power folding mirrors

so im looking for a pair of new sideview mirrors (mine are cracked). and i was wondering did any of the fcs come with power folding mirrors? i noticed that the s4 mirrors were either the aero (one with hole) and the NA ones were more rounded kind of. but i saw some fcs with a more squareish design and they fold! what kind are these?

if anyone has a pair lmk

I believe they were an option in Japan.

Perhaps if you PM Japan2LA he can help you out ^_^

i have a pair of them but... they are the same side..... (EOM ones were destroyed by kids with fireworks...) if you can´t find a pair and only the drivers side, i have 2 of passenger side. let me know if you want them.

I have to say that they are not as cool as you may think, they are big as a 7" TV... friends make fun of them so often... T_T

the optics on the mirror will not be correct for a LHD vehicle, people always report this when getting JDM mirrors

why not just switch the glass? then the optics would be fine.

LOL!

You'd have to have new glass cut.

I have a pair of the folding mirrors. Just as Rob said, the optics are all wrong. One side is like looking into a fisheye camera. You get used to it.

Agreed. I have them. Both the drivers and passengers are like the passengers mirror on a normal car. Everything is closer than it is.

Plus, the motors in the mirrors are set up to be centered for the driver on the right, not left. I have mine powered all the way to the left to get the view I want.

IMO its worth it, just takes some getting use to, especially on a busy expressway.

I think you fold them in by hand, but you can adjust the mirror itself by power
