They are cheap enough to be affordable as first cars. Therefore are inherently destroyed by wreckless, careless first owners. I should never have sold my car to a kid but whatever. She's blown up now. The only reason these cars aren't quite as ruined/ thrashed as the s-chassis is the unique powerplant scares people away.

If you are referring to my car, then yes it is more along the lines of a Lowes special, lol. I spent years on my last two builds making them look great only to deal with door dings and disrespectful people. This build I intentionally made it look cheap and poorly maintained. Mainly so if I hit a cone at the road coarse a quick blast from Rustoleum black fixes the spot .


The wheels are a spare set I had from my Mustang days.


If I decide to retire it from track duty I will probably take it in and have it gone over with a nice paint job. Car is way to fun to justify not ravaging it at the track at every event I can possibly get in on.

the under lip is just rubber L profile, saw it in the shop and tried it, works good for me
and canards are from EVO IX MR, they are direct fit only they are bit more angled then they should be

 

The RX7 I picked up this weekend. Its an 88 GXL that needs some work. The Cragars are coming off soon and I have a set of FD wheels going on
