I did not wet sand or re clear my tails. I just baked them pulled out the diffuser quickly and pressed them back together whole the silicon was still hot. No re sealing involved. Though, I had practice ruining my other set.

Just be sure they're hot enough to open up easily. Also don't place them directly on the oven rack.

You didn't before?! Best wheel color. And actually the ONLY reason I didn't paint my car white(my first choice) Because white on white is... well.. Bitchy. IMO

Uh uh uh... Lol

No I don't really want to sell but I got a letter in the mail for a ticket I honestly totally forgot about when I moved back up here. It was from when I use to ride and now the price is pretty expensive. If not paid by a certain date then bye bye license for me and its harder cause I'm looking for a new job right now so it makes moving again not that easy :/. Plus I was already thinking of picking up an fd so this might be my chance to save to get one :/.

Hey Beach, I guess your painter didn't blocked the primer before spraying it. Paint alone can't do orange peel like that...

Orange peel has NOTHING to do with primer or base coat EVER. sorry WankelGrandPappy but you"re wrong as hell

Thank you for your comment Hurley990. So you are stating that it is only clear coat that can produce orange peel? Didn't know that! I always thought it could be done with pretty much any paint, primer or clear coat... I also thought it was a matter of material thickness applied when sprayed that produced that orange peel look.

I assume that my roller painted walls don't have orange peel, if I look closely, or that the two pictures above aren't orange peel done with primer only. Its probably grapefruit peel then?

Anyway, don't call me Grand Pappy, I am not that old.

I'm just saying in an automotive base and clear paint application the only thing that is going to produce the orange peel effect is the clear coat.
