Only have one of my seats mounted but its bolted directly to the floor. I like em low. For The passenger side I will probably have to make some brackets for because of the way the stock seat is mounted.. Ill take some interior pics once I get off my *** and install the the other seat!

Going back at this thread, looks like everyone is about looks>function this last couple of years.(not hating but looks like all people can afford is coilovers and wheels)

as for me its all about function>looks for the track. It's been hard this last months since my father has lost his job and I'm currently supporting my family.

but I will get back on my feet and I will finish this lady that has been collecting dust for 3months now.

to do list:
dual oil cooler
30mm front and rear fenders.
255/40/17 tires all around.
15mm spacer in the rear
install passenger side skirt
prime all car might as well for now lol

310whp-245lbs of trq

Alright, I'll reply to this one.

Look I understand that Function over form stuff and all. for a dedicated track car that is. I drive my car 60-70 miles a day, and getting 10mpg on a 300hp car would cost me $728 a month in gas alone. another $75 on premix, and maybe $500 on speeding tickets hahaha..

Not everyone with an RX7 needs to go 0-60 in 4 seconds. I can definitely "afford" to build a 400hp engine with all the money I've put into this car, but I'd have one UGLY ******* beast. Coils and wheels is what we LIKE to spend money on. I'd rather look good, get 20mpg, and go slow, than spend $10,000 on a motor that it probably going to last ~2 years, and cost a whole lot of money in the meantime(gas, turbos, etc. things break)

This car is my daily, and getting lower lap times is so far away from being important to me, that I might as well be driving a school bus(in a "racing" sense)

I really like your car, and respect the fact that it is probably 4x as fast as my car. But I also realize that you probably don't drive your car 1/15th as much as some of us do. since it's "collecting dust" and all.

I hope that helps you understand why we waste our time on "stupid" things :X

So...

I love rotaries and all (I have a supercharged one in my S5), But clearly the answer here is an LSx swap... 400+ hp and 30+mpg on the highway No money spent on premix either... can't help you with the speeding tickets though

Flame on!
