New mod courteous of the local DMV!

I know I don't have much to post. I finally secured storage so I don't have to sell it and am tapped out after buying my 20b... Fun! At least I had my orange juice.

The car was originally mine. I owned it since 02. Back about in 09 I sold it then it jumped around from dealer to dealer for a few months and went to auction. A dealer bought it at auction and it's sat untouched for 3 years on their showroom floor. I got a random call one day last summer from the dealer. They tracked me down and wanted to know how to fix the car. I spoke to them at great length and after a few days I basically bullshitted my way back into the car for next to nothing.

Since being back home she's had the entire fuel and cooling systems reworked, about a mile and a half worth of garbage wire removed and cleaned up along with several other plaguing issues addressed. As she stands she needs a clutch, a tune, wastegate and a set or rear tires. This past week I just had the entire body gone over to fix **** that's happened to it since being out of my possession along with painting the hood.

Needless to say I'm really looking forward to the 13 season!

Yes they're dipped. I wanted to do red but I wanted to be sure I loved it before I fully committed. The beauty of plastidip! And people literally stare at them like, "holy **** matte red wheels with a texture. That's bonkers."

What actually happened was I sprayed them when it was too cold out so the dip splattered for the first 4 coats. The final coat I laid down smoothly. Has a cool effect. And it cost me $10.

I feel like Bane. No body cared about the car until I painted them red. Suddenly, paparrazi where ever I goingz.

My wife bought me blaze green plasti dip for Christmas. I dipped them right before I got the body work done. I way trying to decide what route I wanted to go with the look of the car. The pic doeant eve. Show how truly insainly bright it was. This pic is taken on a severely overcast day with no direct light in the garage and from my cell

Most recent pic, thinking about posting her for sale soon, look out for it in the classifieds, maybe....not sure. Still need to put the last few pieces of trim back on after the new paint job.

The green is ridiculously bright. Somehow you're Fitment looks better there. Were you lower? Maybe it was the angle but you can make those work.

Sometimes people just focus on the least effort things dont they?
People look in my engine bay no one notices the belts meanwhile we had a good amount of effort trying to make it all work

Aint that the truth... 90% of my friends are telling me to just "electrical tape" my gauges into place... Been spending MONTHS on just planning, and weeks on actually mounting them. I wanted to flip radio and regular gauge position, and look clean and properly installed...

Can I see pics of your belts?

Dude ur tellin me! The green was insane BUT I actually liked it. The only reason I decided against it was the fear of attracting the wrong attention (cops). My car is loud as **** when I stand on the right peddle and with the green rims there's no hiding in a croud of cars in hopes he didn't see me. No the height was the same. The only thing that changed from that pic is plasti dip removed and hood painted. At some point I may change up the rim color. Oh and I looked into that dattle stanced look and I think I could pull it off easier than flushed. Plus its a more purpose built stance towards my cars direction anyway. Thanks for the tip.

that exhaust system is the exact look that I'm trying to achieve.

Looks to me like either 2 APEXi world sport mufflers, or 2 Megan Racing M-OE mufflers. I think I am definitely going dual APEXi world sports after seeing this set-up.

How ironic.. My buddy and I have been talking about this for the last 30 mins... He told me he thinks its the APEXi, or some ebay knockoff... Im really scared to run ebay junk on an rx7 exhaust... I think I will buy the WS2's....

This is my buddies old exhaust... two $60 ebay mufflers.... Sounded deep.. (2jz):

This is from early in the fall last year...

But then I got the droopy RB exhaust fixed.

And it turned out perfect before going into hibernation.

I've got a little progress thread going on since the car is completely stripped down for some "maintenance" in the garage now.
