Well it came as a gallon kit so it can't weight anymore then what it does out the box from what I see . I'll never have to buff , was , polish anymore lol . They also have the liner that you can colormatch , just mix up to 3oz of automoitve base

suposedly a bedliner job is a good chunk lighter than paint

obviously you'd have to remove all paint on the car to take advantage of that

I checked up on it, the whole kit including pan and roller was only 8 pounds.

Would it be a better idea to cut down to metal, and apply directly, or prime then apply?

Well the u-pol instructions said to sand or scotchBrite and to not have Bare metal and if you do You need to shoot some primer. the kit I got was the 1.06 gallon. it came with the liner mix , hardener , and the spray gun . I shot it with about 50 psi . Used only 3 of the 4-1 liter bottles .'it was a nice kit for $110.00 . you can get the color match liner which all you do is add up to 3oz's of automotive base if you dont want the black

heres a link to the company i bought it from . on eBay its like 10-15 bucks cheaper but still the same company tcpglobal

If any of you are looking for cheap paint you should take a look your local paint and body stores. The one here sells paint that people had custom mixed and never showed up for. We got a gallon of nice blue for $50.

We have one paint store here. They charge top dollar because of the simple fact that there is no competition. It sucks.

Modified brackets to stock rails. I'll take a pic, but it's ghetto and uneven right now, so I have to have themuneven, to sit up straight.

And I'm white.... well 50% Italian Stallion baby!
