yeah sorry guys im going with a toyota 1uz-fe 4.0l v8... ive had rotarys in the car for 10yrs... id just like to do something different, torquey and reliable for drifting. ill always love rotarys tho. this is my new motor.

Doesn't matter. I helped put together my friend's LS1 FD - I'm going to do the same after I buy a house. As long as you love the car, it's all good with me!

 

Ah yes, I've had no issues, then again I have an alloy which is far lighter

 

I wish I had an aluminum hood. But then I'd have to get it painted and my friend who painted my car got fired from the paint shop he was working at. No point paying full price to get a lighter hood painted when I have about 300lbs of stereo in the back.

 

Haha I did kinda wanna do the v12 but my friend does a lot of 1uz stuff he makes mounts for corollas 240s and I'm gonna be the first fc he does and he makes trans adapters for sr20 z32 and z33 trans's to bolt up to the 1uz.

Just bugging you , its your car so build it how you want it built. That thing is going to be a monster, and probably my favorite piston swap when its done, props for being different.

My car is about the least classy and most offensive FC there is, and thats how its intended, but the engine looked fairly normal, so I decided, as Ben from MAV Tuning had finished prepping the irons and housings, it was time to offend people with the engine too...








And yes, literally every interconnecting piece of metal on the engine will be in contrasting colours.
Felix Wankel is probably spinning (elliptically, maybe with a faint puff of blue smoke emitting from his a.hole) in his grave.

Been apart for about a year -drove it for 20min in the past 14mo

LS2/ 4sp dogbox swap -I toasted the motor already too... -so it's back apart lol

 

how does that dog box feel sliding? thinkin about doing it when i do my ls swap

 

The trans is stupid loud -like wear earplugs... it feels great -but I have not been able to get the car to a track lol

I changed the gears in it too 1st goes to about 60mph and 2nd to about 90mph
