That's a strut bar. It mounts to the top of the strut of the suspension.

they're actually supposed to be used in conjunction with the Cusco strut bar that goes from tower to tower. I dunno how they would even attach to the strut tops without the top bar.

I really hope you didnt pay a "rare" price for that. My last 2 comp cars had them and I know I didnt have the only other two sets in the country. Now cusco did offer a CF version with red or blue anodized mounts, those were meh rare.

I was gonna say...
That triangulated "sub bar" isn't that rare.
I can bring them in for $100 a set (used) right now all day long...
I don't think it's worth $100 of stiffening though...
I'm tired of drilling holes in the car right now. :P
Yes, I already have the Cusco rear bar installed.

My seats are actually up for sale right now till the end of the month!
Shipping is going to kill trying to get them to the mainland!
I paid UPS ship from Cali at around $400 for both seats!

LOL, aint seen that one before.

But I dunno what the deal with it is, I have known the guy for years I bought the car off. He is an RX7 genius, I am utterly blown away by his knowledge of these cars. I was told up and down that there are 3 of those in America, and that is one of them.

Definitely not even slightly rare, Cusco still has them in production, you could go buy 50 of them. I almost did get one, but I got the carbon instead. Like the other guy said, go look on eBay, they are always for sale on there. Brand new, $150.... dumbass!

See thats the thing i dont get. People can say that, but seriously how can they know. Its not like Cusco or any other company has lil tracking devices in these bars or any other part for that matter.

Or do they, how do you know that world of aftermarket parts isn't one big conspiracy?
