there was a video a year or so back on our local subaru forum of a Civic meet being videotaped.. while a bunch of civics were driving buy, an FD was stopped at a stop light going the other direction.. it proceded to get plowed into buy a lincoln.. im sure most of you have seen it.. but can u post a link i cant find it

Here is Mike's car ( SN geargrabber) , it went off GMR barrel rolling over the outside rail landed right side up and slid till it stopped, 280 ft from the top. No safety mods, just a stripped out 88 SE. He has a scar from hell on his head and almost lost his ear, but that is it. Sorry its a phone pic!

doesnt look too bad, but the frame got messed up. you can see how the strut towers dont line up.. both doors and even the rear hatch didnt close right afterwards

 

OMFG!! That poor FD. I would seriously snap. I would have broken something. (BTW, I have a minor temper problem...... it happens when you quit doing numerous drugs, drinking, and smoking cigarettes all at the same time after years of using)

Yes, I'm a recovered alcoholic/drug addict. Don't hold that to my name and yes, I was sober when I wrecked my GTU.

gxl90rx7, don't frames just suck sometimes? You think you make it out with just body repair and then you look and the frame/uni-body is bent.

 

I would like to comment that radiator is still working well in my car. im guessing thats where the molding mirrors and rear bumper for you T2 came from? oh and the door i still got those 2 door sin my shed

Im gonna end up in prison if anyone ever hits my FC. I just got in a minor accident in the Sentra I had been driving. Its one thing when you dont really like the car but when its your pride and joy like most of our 7's thats when people start ending up in the hospital lmao.

 

I would be homicidal...period...no one ever destroys a rx7....NO ONE~!!!!

here's my ocean blue 85 GS. i bought the car to restore. i pulled the engine to begin the repair. i have a donor shell that i will use for the front end that i need. i will be cutting just before the two strut towers and welding in the new section.
