Tubing is 1.5"X0.120 wall DOM tubing, for cars that weight between 2 and 3000lbs. Legal weight for the car is 1800lbs, and I would love to come in at or slightly below that and ballast up.

Sorry for the lack of updates, been very busy around here.

Motor and trans will be dropped in tomorrow so that we can begin fabrication of the support systems- fuel, oil, water, air, electrical. Car is currently on the scales with bodywork fitted and cage/fabwork pretty much done and weighs in at 1010lbs. This is minus wheels, brakes, powertrain, and seats. My guess is the car will weigh in at 1900lbs when the rest is added in and some "uneeded" weight is subtracted.

Well actually, that does perfectly explain why the PP car progress isnt moving faster, I have a lot of actual work to get done during the workweek, so it only gets worked on the weekends when there are "volunteers" that can come in and get things done without disrupting the customer work that has to be done. Fortunately there are some fairly skilled people out there who want to see this happen that dont mind giving up a few hours over the weekend here and there to get it done.

I just think you should finish Andrew's car so he has something to drive back to Arizona and not a piece of **** to tow that's been in your shop for two(2) years.

C'mon man, just finish the swap and get it out of your shop already.
