Pics of n/a cold air/intake setups?

Seen a few different setups and got some ideas, and plan on making one from a few simple things..

just wondering if anyone has made a custom box or snorkel etc.

Thanks

I've actually been searching for a few days.. not like crazy 4 hours a day searching hahaha, but I have searched and read a lot of peoples opinions.

I am actually hoping to get pictures of intakes that have not been posted. Since the last thread I read was from 2011, maybe some new ideas have popped up in the last year?

Mine isn't a cold air, just a filter off the MAF. I dont have any pics but it was a $10 adapter off eBay that bolts to the sensor for a 3" filter and $12 for a 3" cone filter. Pretty much eliminated the bottom end torque bbut screams a lot more up top now. Similar to the RX7.com setup

Just keep the oem intake and toss in a quality filter. It feeds from the front. Your probably loosing hp. The only time I would loose the oem airbox on an FC is if your missing it from a previous owner, or it gets in the way/restricts your custom turbo setup.

Oh well I should've mentioned, that the intake box is already fucked from the PO.. its all cut up, and takin' in all kinds of hot engine air.

Which is why I was considering trying a cheap home mde cold air.. since it will probaby be around the same price as buying a whole new stock intake setup

i have not lost any hp from it, just rermove the flash to pass lens and you have a good air flow. i plan on cutting out a vent so i get more air to soon. but in also going to be putting on a turbo and front mount intercooler.
sorry for the crappy pic.

yeah i love the part where there is no real access to the ambient air ^___^

hot engine air, has always been a favorite of mine hahaha jk..

the reason i am considering doing a little custom thing(as stated before) is because the PO chopped up the airbox anyways, and i have a radiator cooling panel thing.. i figure i might as well try my own thang..
