I really like the back of that car, and the tail light covers are kinda growing on me. I know the hood is necessary for whats underneath but... get a rotary and you can fix to problems lol (jk as I'm sure nobody has ever told you that before on this very non v8 prejudiced forum lol). But in all seriousness I like it and since the hood is functional I can accept it.

Under the hood . . .
Hey DL,
long time, did you ever get your kit into production? That was a great looking
kit you created. What about those headlight buckets? If you are producing them,
I may be interested. I think they may look pretty good on my car. Let me know.
So, the story goes, my car had a 13B na in it w/ a rebuild at 13,000 miles
when I bought it. I had the car a month. Drove it very carefully - no really.
I turn the corner and lose a ton of power. Did a compression test and it was dead.
I blew an apex seal. Only person in town who works on Mazda's
was the same one who built the motor. I think the rotary is a great motor
design, but I decided to go w/ what I knew. So now it has a punched out
5.0 in it built to eventually run a supercharger - big bux.
I don't really care about loyalty to this or that car manufacturer. I just like
what I like.
But I know especially in this site, many do, so normally, I wouldn't discuss it,
but since you asked, here are a couple pics. It doesn't turn so great, but
it goes straight really well
Really need to get the underside of my hood painted.

RMagic 8 piece widebody w/ many one off additions.
Posted once before, but now bodywork is complete and the car is painted - still Satin Black.
Some trim work to clean up still, but exterior is pretty much done.
Batmobile wanna be, yeah- got that - very original. Picture the car yellow then.
How about some actual comments on the overall design concept?
Hood cowl was a must, so designed and fabbed - not a bolt on -the best I could make to go w/ the fender and the windshield post body lines of the car - see side profile pic.
Constructive criticism, compliments, ideas are most welcome.

Ok, here goes. I really like the ideas. Some of the lines are lost . but that is just me. One of my all time fave cars , stock, was the 944 Porsche and this is near that in basic theory; the fenders are close.
I dont care for the hood, but you need the clearance.
The tail light covers gotta go.
The front/rear fenders with the rear openings are very cool, exhaust ducts. Like a GTO class car. They may look cleaner if the rear cap blended them into the rear. But it's got a racer appeal.
Is this stuff available? I like the fenders.

Lol. He doesn't know how to use the three seashells.
"airbags"
There aren't enough cars with uras aero out there. I say do it. I have bn, i like it (i'll love it when the car is all one color and i have my mb battles fitted) but i'd like to see more uras and m-sport cars out there.
I wonder if d-drug makes aero for the fc.......

Troy I am using the same Rmagic kit with 30mm rear over fenders and a cf diffuser. I will custom fab my own carbon fiber strakers for the gap on the front fenders as well as my own custom lip wing to fit the vert trunk.
I am running 19x9.5 295 35 with a 25 mm spacer in the rear and 8.5s up front with spacers as well.
I am custom making a bumper based off of the rmagic one and if it doesn't work the way I want it to then I will go with my old design, and yes I did finish a few of those, and I do still make the buckets.
I will be keeping my car stock NA, well mostly stock. I might throw a cam and headers on it

Well sort of: the front fenders are pretty much stock to the kit I bought.
The rear fenders are nothing even close to what they started as.
The kit was purchased from RaceOn USA. Got it for half price.
RMagic 8 piece widebody - not sure if you can get only parts.
The quality was poor. Weak thickness in some areas that needed more layers
Extremely wavy panels. Needed to cut out complete high raised sections to match the fender lines.
A couple pics of the original looking rear fenders - added a top panel and bottom vent that I created out of foamboard.
The black is what the rear fender shape actually was - narrow and thin.
Thanks,
TFitz.

Well dang, let's see a few pic's!! -
Tire size sounds crazy.
I have 275's in the rear - on 17's. Can't imagine a 19" rim back there.
Show us what you got!!

im getting to it soon. Still trying to get my cousins damned t2 swap right as he needs a car to drive. I dont. I am using the 30mm over fenders and I will still probably have to make my own custom roll for them in the rear as I am now going to be using the 45mm spacers in the rear and the 25's up front.

sorry for shitty camera phone, lol.

I think for all of that effort you could put the signals and the ftp's back in and find some matching body trim first. that $50 and 1 hour of effort is the difference between your car looking like a nice well done rx7 and a 20 year old cali kid treating his rx7 like a honda.

@dltreeazn: like ive said, there are still couple of things that I havent got around to doing... but thanks for the insight. I<3Honda btw, not ALL honda drivers are douches with like 5inch exhaust and a bookshelve wing. Some do look pretty clean, and you have to admit, some honda tuners do have "skills" making a four banger into a 9 second car.
@hypertek, yea i totally agree with you, but those came off my s2000, and atm I cant really afford new rims. I dont know if you can tell from the pics, but the enkeis I have on, theyre actually spray painted gold (lol), and theyre in pretty bad condition.
