It was me...

I had a broken motor mount that I wasnt aware of at the time. The IC pipe blew off when the motor settled back down after the shift.. Embarrassing.....

and the Stealth nuked an axle...

They have one round that is a combo round, where two cars go at once. It is the second $200 round. I can't believe you've never watched a whole show. It's one of my more favorite ones on speed. But then again, that might be because I don't have to look at Rich Christiansan or whatever that tool bags name is.

Just out of curiousity, what did the contestants guess the overall time would be for both cars? They always seemed stumped by imports.

Too bad you had a problem. First time I heard about the car and tough the time and sound of the car were really far from a car with 35psi you said was running.........

The stealth had 35psi with the GT42 turbo. And the FC doesn't run 9's. It runs 10's.

Nice car.... To bad you blew the pipe off would have been nice to throw down a 10.00 pass.

Couldnt agree more. Its pretty damn embarrassing if you ask me, but I will get over it. I am just happy that we figured out the problems that were plaguing the car for almost a year now..

Apparently I broke the stud in the motor mount but I never thought to check. Every pass we made the turbo compressor would come out of clock and the IC coupler would have been blown off. I was re-clocking the turbo for the umpteenth time and when I was prying on it the motor came up. Thats when we looked at the motor mounts and discovered the problem.
