He's on here, his SN is Tearbo2. The trans blew on the launch, there's a post about it in the 2009 drag season thread. Definitely sucks, I was pissed that they didn't at least say what happened.

 

i was about to post that last nite also. man thats some bad luck and now the piston guys are gonna be like i told you so

 

run after run the mustangs and the 2 hondas had no issues, then the "no pistons" statement and blahhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm sorry guy's I gave it everything it had to represent mazda rotary, too bad the mazda rotary factory tranny didn't feel the same. had a great time on the show, and got mad props from the producer even tho it broke. not even a month later I ran a 9.85 @ 143 mph in dallas at a IFO event, too bad it wasn't on pass time

 

Some guy w/ a stock block evo was running 30lbs of boost and snapped something in the drive line when I watched it last. Props for going on the show and giving it a try. Better luck next time!

 

what did the car look like? was it a sleeper? or did it have drag slicks etc?

o yes, I'm making one heck of a come back. I ditched the mazda tranny and now have a g force 4 speed, if I brake this tranny I don't know what else to do
