opnionated help

ok gents im stuck at a deciding point, i finally have enough money to do 1 damn good build but im stuck between 2 choices

I cant decide whether to build a 13b in a fc

or do a 1jz fc

i know both have their pros and cons and i will have roughly 6k to dump at the build

you'll have to do a bunch of custom fab if you do the 1jz route. probably way over budget of 6k. I mean, i'm doing a 13bt, and I'm afraid to add up the receipt, but I think i've spent more than your budget, and I've nickel and dimed my car to death.

Anyway, my point is, I think you should go with something that works, and will go right the first time. Buy nice or buy twice. you know?

13B-RE maybe? Light mod 20B?

I'd say stay rotary. What's the purpose of the car?

i dont really like the mk3 body (already had one) and i found a full custom mount set for a 1jz with shifter entension, you send the wiring in and they convert it and everything for 1300 so basically I could have everything but the driveshaft for around 3300. and my main reasoning for wanting to go this route is of course torque and gas mileage lol. The car will be a frequent driver with occasional trips to the drag strip

dont think i could ponder the idea of that swap, would change the characteristics of the chassis/weight distribution soo much. i could understand if the car originally had a 6 though. id go with a Z31 than,.. those are pretty cool with rb fitted.

Your already mindset on the torque and fuel millage thing, might as well do it. Hopefully you throw some aggressive suspension mods with it.
