nice man looks good. and a little advice because this is what i did to my red car. your foot peddles probably drive you mad like mine. my feet always slipped off when i was heel towing. a cheep fix is to go by a local skate board shop and get some grip tape for a skate bored and put them on your peddles. it works grate and dosnt slip at all. but your cage is sweet. im still debating on what i wanna build for my car and this style i would deff have to consider. is it a pain to get in out of. i mean i really dont care i just wonder because the one that i want i litterly will have to crawl out of it. and thanks again for the post
It pretty good actually. The door bar is at the right angle/height that I can use that instead of the door for an armrest (I just still need to get some foam on everything). To get out I usually get the left foot on the ground and grab up above and yank myself out that way (picture how NASCAR drivers get out). If the angle weren't so steep on the door bar, the steering wheel wouldn't get in the way much. I'm working on a way to make the stock steering wheel removable next.
Good tip on the griptape. Unless my feet are wet though I grip pretty well.

I do. I'm not. I agree. I have: the Corbeau + custom side mounts + directly bolted to the floor + steel plates underneath = plenty of head room. I do plan on getting some padding soon though. I'm just going to have it on the upper ring since the door bar actually hits the door panel.
Hey Titanium, I was looking around and I was wondering if you know what the real difference/importance(besides price) is between the Kirkey(non-SFI) padding and Simpson/Summit/etc. (SFI cert.) padding?

a name would help on the cages
