You wanna talk "personalized"? Since everybody else's '7 is "pimped out", mine - being bone stock on the outside - is the most unique 7 on the road! Now THAT'S individualism!
Someday, other 7 owners will look at my headlights and go, "Damn man! That looks SWEET with those headlights all the way down like that!" and slowly, one by one, they'll all be down. Again.

So you want to personalize your FC... great... you obviously have an unconditional love for body kits. Thats your own problem. Go get the next issue of Super Street, there might be some new "highly personalized", pre-packaged kits coming out. Maybe if your lucky there will be ones you can get your name engraved in, to really "make it your own".
If you're really looking to personalize a car--improving and working with the OEM design will ALWAYS look more classy and pure....ie small painting tweaks, rare factory parts, totally original taillights, these all are completely personalized because you didn't buy them from a shop or catalog. Something designed and made to improve upon the stock look will always look better than something bought, you can't buy style. Nor force it upon a car that already has it.
Think about it.............let it sink in........

I'm almost POSITIVE that under normal circumstances you'd agree with the statement: The addition of TII hoods on N/A's, sleepy-eyes and a high interest in "drifting", are all sign-posts pointing to a JDM crazed 'band-wagon hopper'.
This has NOTHING to do with you, period. That's HILARIOUS your car is N/A with a TII hood, because I DIDN'T KNOW! You honestly had me fooled into thinking that your car was turbo'd.

My original comment which created this controversy was something like; "I don't like half pop-up/half-projector headlights because they make FC's look like (IMO) ugly mid-eighties 300zx's... Big deal, right?

thats right my FC looks store bought... and my wheels are from discount tire... no thought put into any of it.. yeah, not original at all.. i thought about it... and still think small painting tweaks and whatever u think is classy, still looks STOCK.. i've never really been into body kits until lately, and actually the green car is the first car i've done a total color change to... but after it's all done, i can look at my car and know it's not like yours, or anyone else's.. <edited for flaming>, and maybe u can afford to do things other than small painting tweaks.. and u're right u can't buy style.. but u can decide what style u're going for... some just have more than others...

I actually know this guy personally, and he's got a GREAT salary paying, video-editing job and own's 3 NICE *** VW's... Granted it's not JDM tight, they're ALL show cars. The most prominent, his VR6 Corrado, was awarded a 1st place trophy at the largest VW show in the NW!
And you know what set his car apart? expensive OEM Euro-spec parts and small subtle differences that WORK with the car and accentuate and transform a 'once-stock car' into an original, creative masterpiece...
I'm telling you, THIS way is more creative and original than buying a nice body-kit etc.

i guess it isn't YOUR problem, but the fact u choose to run fwd offsets on your rwd car is YOUR problem.. just as u choose to comment about others style, so i just reply back.. i'm not taking ownership of any thread, but when u continue to comment on styles i support i will take it personal... because it's indirectly directed towards my style/cars..
Your "RIMS" represent the style u portray.. there was a point in time when i didn't care much about how my car looked and what rims i was running... but when i got a real job and could afford to actually make my cars look nice, that's when i started caring.. maybe you haven't "graduated" to that yet..

in many people's opinions the tII hood looks much better than a n/a hood... and i don't see ANY problem with that... u can see that my cars aren't badged with any type of turbo stickers or anything of the sort... it's when people put turbo stickers and other rice on their car that it gets outta hand
i'm not taking it as an attack, i'm just not gonna listen to u comment on styles i like, while your style obviously could use improvement... btw, i do like white fc's and from the looks of it, your car is pretty clean... but those wheels gotta go.. and yes adding some body work, fenders/hood/kit etc.., would make it look better, don't kid yourself..

Although I'm an old-school 'stock look with rims' kind of guy, I do like both of your cars BoostinmyS5, especially the black one. The no-spoiler look works really well with your cars too...
