NJGB 87 TII First Real Pics After Painting
Got the car mostly back together after painting it, last summer. It was my first time doing body work and paint and it was an experience for sure. I basically did it twice because I made two or three decent mistakes, sanded it down and resprayed it. Learned a lot for next time though and had fun along the way, pretty happy with the results. Used my Fuji Turbine HVLP system and Eastwood primers and top coat, it's a single stage urethane in satin black.
What do you guys think?

What happened to that hood you had on it? I liked it. Anyways, I think all your car needs is some trim and maybe a lip and spoiler. Just a little something to really set it off! Looks good though!
Thanks guys.
Yes the light covers, scoop and sunroof are carbon fiber, along with a lot of inside pieces. I still have the knight sports hood in the garage, I sprayed that satin too. I still have to do the side trims and I also have a volvo front lip and duckbill rear spoiler to go on.

I like it.
Have ya thought about a dry carbon look?
Sand down or satin clear maybe?
I'm going to try something similar with riveted on flares
Just a thought, not a suggestion.
I like it either way

Thanks guys! To be honest, I don't even know what dry carbon fiber is, I kinda like the small areas shiny. But I will look into it and maybe give it a try if I like the look of it.
And it's Satin, not Flat.

Few things I think would make it look a tad better.
1. Spacers. Hub centric to be specific. 5mm front and 10mm rear. Or reverse them and do 10mm front 5mm rear, hard to tell from the pics. I'm not trying to be some hellaflush fagboi, I just think it will add a bit of an aggressive look that will really set the color/wheel combo off.
2. 1/4" lower, see how it looks, adjust accordingly.
3. Front lip, any kind it doesn't matter.
4. Like previously stated, rear diffuser.
5. Get a pair of Ben's (rotary evolution) amber LED FTP's
