new turbo
the turbo is WAYYYY! to small to make any power at all... if you research pics of the stock fc turbo youll see how big the hot side is compared to yours..
and you cant just turbo a N/A fc.. it requires precision.. due to the fact N/A's have high compression rotors..
it would just be easier and safer to do a turbo t2 swap(stock fc turbo motor swap).
but turbo'ing any n/a would require a new fuel manigment, new injectors, new fuel pump, new turbo manifold, intercooler, and so forth.

but if you really want to save your self a lot of head ache and time.. buy a turbo ll .
but keep in mind, do research. it will only benifit you, and make you more knowledgeable.
If you want a turbo rx7, work out all of the problems with your stock fc first.... waterpump...etc.
IF the engine IS toast, and still want to go turbo, contact japan2la on the forums for a series 4 turbo2 engine (assuming that your avitar is your car). You have a lot of research to do.......
This is a good lesson to learn early about not doing appropriate research on a topic.
You will get taken.
By your logic, if someone inherits a mansion worth 3.1 million dollars and trades it for a bucket of KFC extra crispy and some pokemon cards.....that is a good deal.
Not at all the case..... as said before by zerox7's new pink name
1600 dollar bike for 16.00 jukyard turbo, is a ***** deal.

yeah. well you either learn lessons the hard way. or from someone else. i just learned it the hard way. im definitely gonna do research next time. and i did research for like 2 hours. (still gonna do more) and im leaning towards buying a turbo II. and keeping my current for fun.
i would say with your knowledge of turbo chargers.... well mechanical anything, you should probably start reading, read read read and read some more. you either have to be mechanical or rich. i am going out on a limb here but if you started a turbo swap you would probably end up with a part out thread. im not bashing you, youre young and have a lot to learn. im sorry to see that you got tricked into trading for a crappy turbo. that paper weight is worth about as much as the stock turboII paper weight. i wish you luck and for your own good, dont post asking a question unless you have searched for at least 30 minutes, both on here and on the rest of the internet. it will save you lots of name calling and embarrassment.

im not gonna do a turbo swap. i did research. and buying a turbo II would be easier. more expensive. but easier. i figure im just gonna put money into the 7 i have right now. and sell it when i have enough money to where i can sell it then buy a turbo II
yes please. because if this thing throws it down. and every one was wrong. i will feel 1000000000000000x's better
There is such things, the turbo's on SRT-4s use a BOV that is bolted onto the compressor housing. It is able to be disabled and or removed but, id still call it built in.
your best bet is try and sell it to some volvo guys or a kid with a 2.3 mustang. also saab guys might could use it. personally for junkyard turbos the best is a Holset HX35.(picking up one for my VOlvo t5-r motor biuld.
Even if you could somehow use it...it would be pointless for you. Turboing an NA needs excellent tuning or you'll blow it up and have a new paper weight...your car.
