New front mount... (not Egay)

I got it to fit pretty good. I've noticed alot of people on here seem to destroy their bumpers when they put on a front mount

so I thought mine is a bit interesting and i still have my fogs. like the piping isnt showing. you can hardly tell there's an inter cooler on it. I guess all i have to do now is throw on my NA hood and it'll be a sleeper!!! hehe

here are some pics of the build

Thanks, there is no way im getting rid of my power steering lol

Anyway I'm not done with it yet. I'll cut out the grill and get universal piping and weld it. That was the only piping i could really get my hands on atm.

its RHD. the bumper support it different from the US one. he cut the entire center out and just left the parts where the JDM fogs mount. i did the same

plus, bumper supports are for weenies!

The bumper support is so heavy and ya thats exactly what I did. There is no way to install the front mount and keep the bumper support the way it was.

I got the lip right from corksport.com

just a FYI- these FMIC do not serve as good bumper supports.

what is that undertray? a alum sheet?

Actually its not aluminum but the whole thing is still kind of a work in progress because its got gaps which dont allow for adequate suction.

And I am seeing hotter temps!! I have the efan set up on my microtech to come on at 90 cel and stop when it gets down to 84. So I'm always checking my temps and the efan seems to be working nicely. It comes on and off periodically

ROD - that is a good idea if i ever notice my efan not pulling me back down to the proper temp i might do that.

really?!

all a fan in the front would do it block air-flow for the "real" fan, thus makinging it hotter, and flowing less, and the "real" fan will have to work harder. u can try it, but i guarantee ull hate it

Changing the subject here. I'm noticing quite a difference in hp. As i'm accelerating I'm actually getting tire spin.

def looks good tho, and love the fitment of bumber cover to the fcim

oh and checked out shookmotorsports.com... dope ****!

ya that hp gain ur seeing is prob from the better aire flow, cooling. the stock tmic flows like **** and cools about the same.
b4 i ran some ducting to my maf/air filter, it was taking in 120-140* air, after the ducting 70-80* air
now 7 psi feels like 12 and 12psi is nucking futs!!
