So i ran over a tire on the freeway a couple weeks ago and wrecked my stock undertray. since then i have noticed my engine temps have been higher than normal. so i decided to make my own under tray. went to home depot and picked up a 36''X48'' sheet of metal and made a template out of cardboard and started cutting the **** out of it and ended up with this:








i have yet to test it because i just got done with it but as soon as i do i will post it up.

perhaps you can do some side pieces?

 

i was thinking agout doing something like that but i dont know if i have enough artistic ability to make it look nice

i saw that thread a while back, that is pretty nifty, but i think it would be kinda heavy and if it came off on the freeway it would be very bad.

 

whats the thickness and weight of the metal plating ?

ya the stock undertray is pretty flimsy, i want to do a splitter/undertray on mine

 

hey how much was that piece btw? im curious if that size will be long enough to attach to my gp front since it extends farther otu than the stock front. Your car is becoming a street beast =D

I had a benz once and would check out the german sites *they do some pretty awesome stuff to benzes that we dont usually see here*
