hey all i have to say is drift it!!! dont strip it, dont do a body kit unless you do it right and just take care of her. its one thing to drift a car and let it go to hell like alot of 240 owners do but its the right thing to do the drive a car to its limit and take care of it at the same time...of course is impossible to keep fenders and bumpers from getting fucked up, unless your super good at drifting, but thats what spare parts from wrecked sevens are for. if you do get a na seven...drift that instead and make this tII "your" fc. keep it og and keep it clean and drive it around like its an fd. lol

and i do agree with hypertek alot!! i have a base that was 4 lug and its a bitch to convert to five, and even though my body is straight i still have damage to fix along with mounts and vacum leaks....some times i wish i had another fc to work off of to get performance parts faster instead of fixing problems lol

see this is the stuff i like to hear from Rotary owners when u own a rotary powered car you are basically joining a brother hood and we need to support our members no mater what they are doing with their cars or what they put on them.. leave that hating BS to the honda owners or the 240 owners.. as rotary owners we already get crap from everyone that dsnt appreciate them " oh RX7/8, engine blows if you tweak it" is all i hear from haters or "rx7 damn and it runs" " rotary sucks no torque apex seal crap out" lets quit the hate and start supporting one another whether you drift, auto x, touge or just keep your ish clean to cruise ,rx7 owners must stay united whether yours is modified or not

There's no such thing as "doing it right". Taste is all a matter of opinion. It can be neither right nor wrong. Not everyone likes a completely stock looking car, or vice versa with a completely kitted out car.

One thing about this forum is almost everyone on here is so one-sided. You all judge and criticize, more than you would in person.

Its easy to see both sides here. Clean TIIs are not easy to come by, and if you are building a full drift car it would make more sense to build up a base model, as supposed to breaking down and rebuilding the highest model.

But thats the greatest part about drifting (Which all you biased people never see, or expect you to see) You create your own style, there's no right or wrong way. It brings out your personality in your car and driving style. So if he wants to build up a TII then more power to him. Not everybody throws on a GP Sports kit, wheels with a 12" dish and a giant wing (yeah, majority does) but not everybody is like that!

I mean all he said is he's gutting the interior, not changing the exterior. So let him be, its his car, he got lucky enough to find one. And even if he does "destroy" it. It just makes the ones that are still out there even more rare.

Cause there's nothing more I hate than coming on here, asking a question and getting hassled by all the ******** that are on here.

But anyways, nice car, good luck on your build and I really hope she never slams into any walls! Cause that'll destroy everything I just said!

your right...eveyone has their own taste and in my taste, a good body kit done right is tightly fitted and flush with the body. I cant stand people who just slap on a body kit and rock it forever with out aligning it to make it flush, painting it, and using zip ties becasue they think it looks cool to hold the kit to your car with them, instead of using zip ties to temporarily hold it up till you fix what you broke. if i dont go kit i'd like to just slap the turbo II sides and front bumper, paint to match and leave as it because it looks that good already.

spending over 500 bucks on an fc that your going to thrash is insane.... if your doing it right, your going to be rebuilding the entire car anyway..... drifting this thing would be a complete waste of clean rx7 goodness

Opinions are pointless. Good find. We are all, obviously, very jealous.
