Went to the salvage yard today to look at my silver FC that they finally found...

Lets look at the damage.






THAT WROTE MY CAR OFF :taz: :osama: :nuke:

Inside, damage was only the ignition being ripped apart, and my deck was gone, along with all of my bike gear (helmet, gloves, boots, jacket ) and my two other Skyline wheels in the hatch. This is what was in the hatch, some native blanket or something, and a center console from some other car, along with a couple scissor jacks and some tools.


I'm assuming they drove into a snowbank or crashed it while it was snowing, because behind the bumper, and in front of the oil cooler and rad, it was packed with snow (Hasn't snowed for weeks here)


Oh yeah, look what else I saw sitting there..










The Advan RGs were in mint condition and the tires were pretty much brand new...wanted to take those along with the silver and gold "RX7" door sills!


So yeah, I hate car thieves. I'm likely buying it back for parts and parting the whole thing out, so if you want anything off the car, or the whole shell, PM me

 

Man that sucks dude, and that FD is/was sick (minus tail lights).

 

Yup, we got yelled at by the lot "security" soon after that last photo was taken. Funny thing was we found his old car, my old car, and another friend's old car in the same lot, all written off by the new owners...

No, never seen the FD in my life. I don't think looking at the cars is a big concern...its a government owned insurance companies own impound and salvage lot, you can't really take **** out of there without being seen.

As much as I love FDs and hate thieves, the guy who owned that FD deserved it. Look at those complete distasteful visual mods done to his car

 

Pretty sure that it was like that when he bought it...its imported clearly, and he probably wrote it off soon after he bought it.

so you know a way to hear your car being stolen from two blocks away while you're sleeping? that's pretty impressive.

PS pretty sure he was kinda sad/mad the whole time. Usually ppl aren't happy about their car and bike gear etc being stolen.

Pretty sure RGIIs are worth more than $400, especially with new tires. Lol Im kinda glad they did find it now with the meager payout theyre gonna give me, at least now I can pull the engine and rebuild it and sell a bunch of stuff off it.
