So, a few weeks back I was on eBay searching for parts for my RX7. I happen to come across some hood allegedly to be from Japan, this hood had the duct in an inward style. Basically I slept on the auction and lost out, just a few days ago I found a Turbo 2 hood in Atlantic City thanks to this forum. My boy had to go to a machine shop (Headgames) so he came along for the ride.



Came home hyped with my new mod



Installed!



I was so excited with my hood that I continued to do some more online shopping and I came across something I wouldn't have thought to buy........STAY TUNED

My bad I'm fairly new here and when I was originally making the thread I wasn't thinking of making it a build thread.....maybe a mod could move this for me?

Why wouldn't you keep the stock hood? It's already aluminum, and now you don't match.

Yeah im kinda on the same page here, doesnt make much sense to replace a good/color matching hood with a mis-matched hood - should at least wait until you have the new hood painted... but to each his own
