Arrow My Next Project- Need some inspirado

So I am going to have in my possession in the next few weeks a clean 1991 Coupe shell. This car use to actually be mine, I sold it to a friend who sold it to a friend blah blah.. It is a red coupe that needs paint, some interior touches and well everything else..

Here are my plans, not really sure exactly about the details but the car will probably sit for a while without an engine as I work out the details... I am going to build this car backwards from my previous methods... The JuiceH way. Basically build the body, suspension and interior, then decide on powerplant. While the car sits in my garage I will be using it as a guinea pig to some more of my developing projects- clear turnsignals, some Jspec copy FTP's ect....

So far here is what I do know- the car will see some track time, but will be street use most of the time..

Body- Stock S5 bumpers/trim with shine lip
Wider fenders front and back with rear diffuser
wing/wingless haven't decided....

Lights- Clear corners (from me) clear 3rd brakelight (from me) and either modified s4 tails or just rock the s5s.

Color also not sure, I am leaning towards white, but may do gunmetal or black (all my other vehicles are black)

Interior- Black already in decent shape so it will remain black, will probably cage it so I will most likely sell the back seats I have been storing for a while.

Suspension- freshen up with new bushings, shocks and agressive springs, racing beat bars, and custom camber adjustment plates.

Wheels and tires- Probably BBS vert wheels until I decide on what wheels I really want..

The engine will probably stem from a J-spec imported T2 platform, along with the transmission. i will pull it apart and rebuild it and it will probably run in stock form. The car was an automatic so i need to do a little research on the process of swapping over... Frontmount will probably supply the manifold.

So I will probably be selling a lot of my stuff to fund the project, unless the clear signal business picks up and I can make the money that way. Until it's in my hands feel free to clutter this thread up with pictures of your projects, paint body, suspension, anything.. I am interested in what you are working on.

These were both mine- but the one I am getting back is the one on the left

This picture is small but you get the idea-

Car looks clean, from what I can tell.

You go through so many of these cars, will you keep this one/follow through all the way? Not to be a jerk, but just wondering.

If you are willing to repaint all the way, I say go white. My first FC (car) was white, and an S5 looks best in white

As for myself, I need to clean my oil pan, and slap it on my motor. Then the flywheel & clutch and I can FINALLY put it in my car after nearly 2 years of sitting (the car that is). I am now in the wiring process.
Water temp, boost, oil pressure and wideband
Injector harness I'm almost done with too. I had to put new clips. My friend kept an old harness from an 8 cylinder firebird he had and it's really come in handy with injector clips and LOADS of spare wires.
Finally, I am looking to get my manifolds and water pump media blasted. Hopefully I can give myself a birthday present, middle of June, and have a running car.

I usually finish the Fc's, don't always hold on to them.... I never really know how it will turn out. All I know is I need a project that will last 1.5 years until the wife finishes school. Also I have pretty much given up on my dad ever fixing the Autocross Miata and i need to get back out on the track..lol

Best of luck with the new project. Color choices...can never go wrong with white. Looks beautiful on the fc. The tornado grey color from the s4 looks superb with a clean body.

My plans just got a hell of a lot more expensive. Custon paint job by hand. Inspiration from a local shop that is havin their car done. Will have photos after HIN. A few body mods new suspension and fully redone interior. Few more bolt ons and ill be good.

with a lot of work, as long as it's the stock paint, you should be able to bring it out and make it shiny again.
