Pretty expensive.... plus for trying to sell a car the pictures were taken with a cell camera or something.. Looks like someone sneezed on the lense..

it may not be worth 4g to us. It does look pretty cheesy though, and the reason why I say that is because of the wheels. Too many people buy wheels without thinking of size and offset.

this is only minor fail.

molded kit
molding deletion
spinal compression harness
wheel fitment
painted interior + seats
super negative cooling radiator airflow obstruction

these problem areas could be cleaned up pretty easily. i wouldn't pay 4000 for it, but i don't think it's a huge ripoff or overvaluation.

Saw that car in Import Tuner a long time ago. Veilside kit is whatever but his wheels are hot, and according to the article it redlines at 11,500rpm.

Modifications do not equal value

Here is a math equation to help figure car values.

Value = What someone is willing to pay

What someone is willing to pay = Market + Condition+ emotional attachment or Pressure by society

Market + condition + emotional attachment or pressure by society = High retail + Low retail / 2

High retail = the craziest high $ amount you have ever seen a car of similar condition and modifications sell for.

Low retail= the cheapest you have seen a car that is driveable but beat to crap sell for

If you divide the sum of those two numbers together by 2 that will give you a realistic HIGH retail value for any car.

Say a moderately modded FC (N/A) in fair KBB condition usually sells for $1700 and a super clean one sells for 3500 you can pretty much expect to sell yours for $2600 cash in hand...

Modifications pretty much make up for a small percentage of a car's value. Sure they may make it seem more appealing but I often shop for a stock car in good shape rather then another person's mess.... Sure you can inheret some parts equity by overpaying for a car with a Haltech installed, but the money you spend fixing the mistakes (in this case the wheels, the interior, the fact that it has no power to back up the looks, the molded body that WILL crack....) you could have bought this car for less and had a much better start, with the potential to be worth something some day...

Wish I had the cash for this one....

http://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/1104443078.html

In the long run mods do not increase the value of a car.. I often laugh when I see ads where people want more then the market value of thier car based on the fact that it has new brakes or a paintjob... That is all stuff that makes your car competitive with the current market, not over it.

4G's for that car is without a doubt worth it. CHEAP. It's in prestine condition, plus it was apparently in the super street mag? Hard to believe, I mean its an n/a. Yes the exterior is in immaculate condition, and the interior is riced out but performance wise its just not there.. I could see a 400whp turbo fc in a mag, but an n/a? Must of had some serious connections and/or gave the head chairman of super street a 10 hour bj.

And wait, is the front bumper openings fiberglassed in? What a HOMO!

Does anyone have this mag to prove it was definetly featured? Cause I highly doubt it.

why that car fails= tasteless american styling
molded kit, cheap no name parts

you would never see this car in any magazines honestly.. maybe 1998, the magazines have a lil more taste then that,... the current trend is more towards JDM = brand name bolt on parts instead of custom making/molding stuff.

If he had spacers to correct the fucked up fitment, and a more aggressive stance without the chicken coop mesh simulated fiberglass, it would probably be ok.

maybe.

just looked at picture again. new front bumper too.
