My new wheels
My new wheels
Posting pics up for scrutiny. I just put these wheels on my FC. Would be nice if we could get more pics of other donor wheels on FCs. Im curious as to what else has been fitted to these cars. The last one is a pic of my Dog Rotor! Truth is his name is Dexter. GF wouldnt let me name him rotor... its better than Tumor i guess
After running the 23lb. TII wheels for a few years, I located some 17x6.5 inch 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse take-offs with two good tires for cheap. Trying to reduce the unsprung weight of my car, I found their weight of 17lbs. acceptable.
Its a pain having to center the wheels with my knees when I mount them (didn't spring for the hub centric rings), but worth it for the weight reduction and unique look.

Just a quick list of all the cars I know fit our wheels:
Generations 3 and 4 Supra
Lexus IS and SC (most of them...)
Ford Mustang
Mitsubishi 3000gt (and likewise, Dodge Stealth)
Mitsubishi/Plymouth Starion
That's all I know off the top of my head... Probably more...
