Going to get the swap done before the next meet?
I really hope so. It all depends on Paul of rotorsports... I don't have the time or equipment at my smog shop to swap engines. He has 4 FD motors to do before he can get to mine... and ever since he got a new employee he has been lazy lol. Last saturday he actually just BS'd with me most the day and hardly got any work done haha.

Everyone loves the cluster, as do I!

Although it is not very practical as I will never see 10k rpm, it is still awesome.

The previous owner got it off http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/. Paul from rotorsports regularly browses that site looking for rare Rx7 parts. He saw that cluster and immediatly told his employee about it. That same day they ordered it for like $500 or something like that.

Paul also just ordered a genuine spirit r gauge cluster for his 95 FD (thing is very nice has less than 14k miles on it)

Expect it to arrive via UPS in the next couple of days.

nice one, sounds like a keeper! kinda weird, I have that exact same ding on rear wheel arch. you're right though, you don't see many here in that colour either. they all whit, red, or black. suits the shape well, would be awesome with grey or black interior.

^ I know, stupid interior is red and parts are faded to green lol. Maybe one day I will switch the interior to something else.
