My new '91 Vert!
I found this Saturday while trolling through Craigslist looking for a deal, and boy did I find the jackpot...
http://providence.craigslist.org/cto/1661643233.html
My buddy and I took the 2 1/2 hour trip to Providence last night, $55 to Uhall for the trailer, $70 in fuel, and a couple coffees and $1,200 I now own a damn near mint 91 Vert...
The car currently does not run, but the body is flawless. The owner (some spanish guy that bairly spoke English, so it was hard to understand completely,) said his friend swapped a S5 turbo motor, tranny, rear, and ECU in, but never swapped the harness so it wont run.
I haven't yet taken a look at the ECU or harness yet, since we didn't get home till 3:30am, but if this is the true story the car is worth every penny.
The rims are in 100% flawless condition, the top has 0 rips or holes and even has the original boot in the trunk, the seats are beautiful, and the paint is an 8.5 out of 10. The car even had the
original owners manual, and something I've NEVER seen before, (this is my 5th FC,) the original front license plate bracket...
Other than getting it running and painting the TII hood to match this car looks like its 2 or 3 years old, not almost 20... So I'm siked about the new arrival, and will post up my progress.
