My Garage Pics

I finally got a chance to clean out my garage and get the 7 ready for a re-do.
Last week, I started my 7 up and one of the Apex seals died. I'm sick of fixing and paying so much for gas. I'm gonna make this car into what I always wanted to. A pure show car. I'm getting a TII engine/Tranny/ECU/Downpipe/Turbo-to-NA driveshaft here in the next month or so. So heres some of my pics I just took.

This car will end up being a built show car, and yes, to all those haters out there, there will be neon

If you don't want your shelf to bend like that, keep the heavy and liquid stuff at the bottom or against the sides. At least it looks like you can flip the shelves upside down and have them re-bend themselves straight. Sorry, I'm a neat freak.

Well, like i said, i've got a TII engine/Tranny/ECU/Downpipe/Turbo-to-NA driveshaft commin soon, going to streetport it, with bigger turbo, and seramic apex seals. That's the power part. I do like a lot of power and the NA just wasn't doing it for me. I want it to be a show car though to keep me from getting in trouble, lol.

I'm going to do a body kit of course, still deciding on what kind. Don't like widebody look, so I'm going to go with something basic, but probaby drill into the sideskirts and do a side-dump exhaust.

For the interior, I think I'm gonna strip it bear, and start over with my own custom dash/steering wheel/computer combo, have a couple subs and still keep it driveable. This car is definitly not going to be a DD, so keep in mind that these mods are purly for show....cept for the TII stuff

I decided to keep it more show instead of go, because I have learned that if I give myself too much power, I'm gonna get arrested.

To answer your question Tyler, I have gone by BD180 for a while now. BD stands for "BIG DOG" and that's what I used to go by. I used to be a gangster wannabe, then got saved and turned my life around. So now, I go by BD180 for whatever I do. Yes, i used to have huge chains on my neck too, lol

I can respect a guy who knows himself enough to do what's neccessary to keep out of trouble. So I take it you're going to do audio too? How about LCD's in the head rests. Gotta love that in a 2 seater car lol. (Please don't do it).

Sorry to hear your na was a pig. My old NA was great with a bit of tuning.

Why would you spend $1200 on seals for a show car? Of course you wouldn't let over a grand worth of seals ride on worn housings, right?

I guess I didn't think about the price of the apex seals, lol.
I do want a lot of power, cause if it's just a heavy portable entertainment center....usless.
I want to enjoy the power while I'm waiting for more $ to finish it.
I've got a nice mountain for Touge, just don't tell my wife, lol
I'm debating a TV, but I definitly won't be putting any in usless spots like you see in some cars (engine bay, bumpers, ect...) I was thinking of making it so I can pull up somewhere, pull out a couple seats and play games anywhere i want. Like having a 32" fold down when I open the trunk.

Most of you are probably just shaking your heads thinking I'm an idiot, but I don't care. This is my build, I'm just letting you enjoy the pics, lol

I would still like to hear your input.

BTW, I scored the engine/Tranny/ECU/Downpipe/Turbo-to-NA driveshaft for $700
My friend Mike just wants to get rid of it (he ordered it all from Japan and can't get it running)

Take a look at some high powered builds on this forum. Most have quite a bit invested in engine management and fuel delivery, let alone engine upgrades.

he probably can't get it running because he is using the jdm ecu or because the engine is blown. that seems to be the problem with jdm swaps. hopefully its an s4 motor.

ah yes, the plan and the ambition is the easy part.

The time and the funds are the deciding factors.

Your garage is clean, your car is clean. I say throw a TII motor in it and keep it a sleeper.

Interested to see where you go with it either way.

Meh, I don't think FCs are meant to be show cars. Nothing wrong with nice wheels, clean kits, and shiny paint but once you start throwing in TVs and fiberglass sub enclosures, etc, I think it's kind of a waste.

That's just my opinion of course, good luck with your project.
