My daughter.........
magus2222 - My daughter would disown me if she found out I put her pic out here. So I won't go there - sorry fellas. She's happily married with a 6 month old anyway.
She did tell me earler this weekend that it is Panther Pink - The same color as the 70's Dodge Cudas and T/A's. This color - http://www.pantherpink.com
I told her I still was not gonna keep it - pink is pink - I'm chasing a headlight up problem (different thread), so I didn't call the DMV lady yet either.

Well, I got the FINALLY got time, and I got the headlight problem resolved, and I'm going to email the DMV lady to see if her daughter still wants it (I promised her first shot at it). If you want a panther pink RX-GXL N/A that is in totally stock and in pretty darn good shape, watch the for sale section - if they don't bite quick, it'll be out there by next week......I have my eye on a C5 Z06 vette.
Yea Qua - I'm secure enough with my manhood to drive it, but I have too much of a lead foot, and Delaware is so small of a state that most of the cops already know my daughter and I with the pink panther. I drove it today, and 2 of the 3 cops I met waved at me.
I'm gonna go with a silver Z06 Vette (2002 - 2004) - I'm fortunate enough that I have a good job and can afford it. I've already driven one, and I can't pass up that V-8 torque. That's why I have a V-twin bike instead of a high revving sport bike.
I just hope the Vette is half as dependable, and as easy to work on as these RX's are. And, I hope their forums are as knowledgeable as these are too.

they arent.
its a corvette, one of the hardest cars to work on. there is so many redundant systems on it, the body is fiberglass (are they still?), and wiring, ew, what a nightmare.
have fun
peace

actually corvettes are still fiberglass partly they are figerglass reenforced plastic.
Man, I would paint that think straight black and not lose a bit of sleep over it.
But I'm not saying the color is bad It's pretty good for just a regular car, very original!
But if you're gonna be doin stuff on the street, you're gonna need a low profile color. I would go for the black, but that's just me

Yea, this week, I'm gonna try to get an ad ready for the 2nd gen sale section. PM me in the meantime if anyone is interested and I'll give you my cell number. Here's a couple more pics from a cheap digital camera, the color is darker than the pics.

I PMed ya Pink Flea. I saw another pink panther - an Eclipse - while driving home from the airport Saturday - it had multicolored patterns on the side. I can't get my phone to be recognized by this PC, or I would show the pics of it here.
Look out folks - a pink flea is on the loose. She picked it up today.
She really looks good in the car, and was drawing attention as she left DE with the car. I helped pink flea and her friend find a Bob Evans for breakfast, and another lady started checking out the car as soon as we pulled in the parking lot.
I also had to call 3 other ladies today, and tell them that it's gone - It's a shame I'm not about 20 years younger and single - I'd offer to take them out to dinner and help them find another car.....
This will probably be my last post out here, at least for a while - I have to say I'll miss it.

man there an't nothing wrong with that color...in mater fact that paint job looks to be really expensive...and the quality of the work from the pics looks flawless...why did she give you back the car anyways...
8 guys my ***, that was me! I sent you the picture hah! Can't wait to see the car, you better bring it out this weekend.
I begged her not to paint it pink..... Now, she's traded it back to good ole dad....
I can't drive it. 2 reasons - Pink is no color for this redneck, and check out across the street - every cop knows this car in the state (which pretty much means no fun, no way, no how)
Any ideas for a color scheme with pink as the base coat? It's a $3,500 paint job, so I don't want to completely repaint it - I'll probably end up selling it if I can't turn it around.
