Sounds like a solid plan you have there man, smart! I also recently bought a 87 T2 for $5k. Rebuilt 6k km's ago. Only difference is yours is sweeter because its cheaper. Rx7s especially turbos are a bit pricey up in Canada.

ahah
no kidddingggg.
when i bought the car the guy said the ecu was going bad.
i drove it and it had like really bad hesitation from like 3-5rpm
well i thought the guy just didnt know what he was talking about and i just thought it was groundings
figure out that the ecu was "upgraded" by corksport and it pretty much confused it and made it start running really lean
soo i just bought a new ecu, injectors, and a afc neo and i'm getting them installed this weekend so hopefully i'll have no problems what so ever
so just more money on top of the loan i'm paying off now
hahah

and he said when the guy "upgraded" the ecu
he put 720cc secondaries in. Well he called the guy that pretty much knows everything about rotaries and i think he worked for corksport and he said that they were known to mess up the ecu pretty bad and thats why they dont sell it anymore
so that explains the hesitation
i hope that made sense
