NJ My 5 lug conversion is done! *pics*

I fucked up and got 3 passenger side wheels :eek3: so on the drivers side the front one is backwards :bowrofl:

next is the TII rear install.. that one I will document along the way.

FYI this is an 87 na base model 63,000 miles

Not bad. I wouldn't have even noticed the wheel had you not said anything. Its nice to see results when all you normally hear about 5 lug conversions here on the forums are dreams.

I have big plans for this car... the key word is plans NOT dreams. I'm a bit older and know what I got into buying this only thing I'm really doing next is coilovers and the diff... for that I'm going to garage it for the winter and media blast/sand blast all suspension and install a master bushing kit then prep for the engine swap (sorry not a rotary). Only body mods will be the factory 1pc lip in the rear and maybe roll the fenders a bit, I want a stockish look on the outside.

Well, I'm impressed. Definitely keep us posted with the swap pics/additional pics, etc. +1 on the stockish look also. Although I must say I am disappointed you are not applying your skills to a rotary engine (). . . But I respect your choice. Good Luck.

been around and worked on rotaries enough to know that they are not for me... AMAZING engines and I'll probly swap the stock 13b from this into something else... I'm thinking old Mazda 323 or pickup. I know If I keep a rotary in this I'll just break it. I just want something super reliable about 450rwhp, that I can go race or drift on the weekends and not have to worry about a thing. Only way I would stay rotary is a 20b or 4 rotor... maybe someday... for now LS1!
