Thanks guys. Swayed me away from my decision to get them. Good sizes and offsets (they are cst wheels regardless of who owns the molds) but i dont think the overall design will match my car well. For some reason the fc makes the spokes appear understated to me. Not in concove but in width of the spoke.

Yeah, see, they look REALLY good on s chassis but the effect they have on those cars just isn't there on the fc. An fd could pull them off really good. I'm just not a fan of them on fc's after seeing multiple cars/shots and photoshopping the d1sl sexy knights car a bit....

Good offsets?

17x9.5 +15 is a damn good offset.

Probably the only thing that has them hard to give up.

My buddy andrew is like, "**** that. I'm taking your *** to discount tire monday and you're buying a pair. If they dont fit, sell them. Atleast ******* try them. Quit being a ******."

Battles hold retail unless you curb/bend them. Also, lifetime warranty. I didn't know they had a lifetime warranty until today.

I bend some vienna kreis or xxr 522's i'm stuck buying a new wheel......

Just thought I'd point out. MB is teeechnically JDM, since they're a-tech wheels which is a wheel company in japan. MB wheels dont have MB written on it anywhere but they do have A-tech written on the lip.

ORLY?

That's cool.

Still, lifetime warranty? That's bad ***. I love companies that stand behind their stuff and it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I was torn between the battles and these:

xxr 522. The cons were everyone is going to have them, people are going to ask me if they are volks and then look at me dissapointed when i say "sportmax", they are heavy, i'd have to run spacers, no warranty.........

But when these hit production, I will get a set in negative offsets front and rear. Made to order, players.

I KNOW these will look good on my car.

The battles....not so sure but we shall see when i pick them up i guess..... Anyone know the individual weights for the 17x9.5 +15's? Under 25 pounds?

you bend some vienna kreis and you get them repaired,.. you bend some mbs or xxr you throw them away *cast wheels*

Id rock those MB wheels over those zilvia special wheels, you even have the option of going with mustang wheels. Theres soo many options.

Throw away mb's? LIFETIME WARRANTY, Son. You take that **** to the place you got them from and get a free replacement.

I've had rims repaired before but it was nbd and the work was solid for what i paid for. Maybe next tax season i'll get the forged lovins my car deserves but battles will work. Mustang wheels look good BUT i dont like the lips. I like the deep dish but the lip just falls off at a 90* angle. It's not a smooth, clean rolled edge.

The design of the xxr wheels and KNOWING they are cheap because the casting process used is cheap. Eh, i dunno. I think performance, balance and function overweighs the look and low price and lower quality.

I'm starting to get pretty picky about the stuff i put on my car these days.

The MB Weapons and the MB Competitions are A-Tech. Not the Battles (though I they are still JDM, it is somewhat disputed exactly where they come from though)

Ahh my bad. I thought it just applied to all MB wheels since i saw A-Tech on my Competitions and my buddies Weapons. Didn't think they would switch manufacturers depending on the model.
