Mazdaspeed steering wheel: real or fake?

I bought this Mazdaspeed 360mm steering wheel and it arrived yesterday. I was wondering if any JDM gurus here can tell me if it's real or fake:

It certainly doesn't feel fake. If anything, it's much nicer than my tired stock wheel and there isn't any twist/floppiness in the upper part of the grip. I haven't installed it yet, so I was also wondering it the hub adapter looks like an FC hub adapter to you guys, since the seller wasn't certain.

I live close to a racing shop that carries Momo hub adapters. As long as the holes line up (IIRC, Momo made these wheels for Mazdaspeed), I should be all set.

As for the hub that came with the wheel, I will try test-fitting it onto some junkyard Miatas/SAs/FBs and sell it if I can find a match.

The hub fit, so it's in. Here are a couple of crappy cell phone pics:

The white horn button doesn't match the interior, but aesthetics are low on my priority list. Steering feel is heavier than before and much more sensitive to inputs, which should be good for autocrossing. It's also much more comfortable than the stock wheel. It's actually a little closer to the instrument cluster than the stock wheel and my fingers scrape the turn signal/cruise control stalks a little!

I have to adjust it, though. The PS computer is giving me the 5-beep misalignment warning and the turn signal won't turn off after I turn the wheel. I also have to grease the plastic cover on the hub. It's making an awful noise of rubbing on the steering column cover.

its binding on the clock spring I bet, I also grinded the back of my hub down a little, it was also hitting the plastic around the column

I'm pretty much doing what DC 91 fc3s is with the blinker. I ended up damaging the PS sensor assembly behind the wheel, so I will need to get a new one.

I read somewhere on this board that with some aftermarket hubs, you need to modify the plastic bushing with the two prongs sticking out of it. You have to shave about a 1/4" of material from both prongs and from the bottom of the bushing. Wish I knew that sooner. I'll try it after I return from my road trip next week.
