lsd questions

I have an 86 rx7 with a small block Chevy and I am wonder if a turbo II rear end will fit in a four lug housing. I would like to keep the same axles so I am not against an after market unit if it comes down to it. I also am not vibing a five lug swap. Anyone who has tried this I would appreciate feed back.

Internals of a TII dif will not fit into a n/a dif.

However, you can find a n/a lsd(s4 clutch type) and that will swap right into your dif housing.

upgrade to TII rear end.. NA rear end has thinner axles, so the TII rear is a little beefier, should be good for your v8

Thanks a lot. So a dif from a gxl would work? I'm looking for purely a street car maybe race on the track 5-6 times a year just to see what it could do

If SBC stands for Small Block Chevy, then you will be far from the first clean one.
