At long last! Pictures with my spoiler installed

I've been putting this off for quite a while. The guy who sold me this spoiler asked for pics when I got it installed. That took a long time just to get around to installing it, and now to finally get pics. Anyway, here it is, it's nothing extraordinary, but I'm happy my car is washed after the winter grime had its way with her and it's been nice weather out.

Nice!.. i'm in the same boat as you were still deciding if I should put the spoiler I bought on. I think when I paint it I will.btw did you install it yourself or did a shop do it for you? ANother thing that is putting me off for doing it is I got a quote from a body shop to put it on for 200 bucks...wtf!?

I did it. It was pretty easy. I did not, however, drill holes for the far corners, just for the two screws and two anchors. As the far corners don't have anchoring fasteners I didn't want to bother. I was just very careful when drilling/installing and lined it up cautiously. I used the antenna as a base location and used the hatch as a reference so I wouldn't have any scraping. It isn't done, but mainly because of the cruddy paint underneath it and I need to find black sealing foam to replace the flattened stock crap. I will also paint the exposed parts of the holes I drilled and install grommets, but not until I repaint the whole car. If I can land a decent job I will definitely be painting it this summer, and it needs it, too.

The scoop on your car isn't centered on the bonnet... that's not a real TII, I think you got taken.

I really don't remember...I'm pretty sure it was a little better than $200...but this was a year ago...they're just gonna get harder to find. Also, the guy doesn't look like he's had any offers...you might be able to get it for less....especially in that condition. Who knows...

The longer you go tho...the harder it'll be to find one at all....that's why I got one when I had the chance from funk...even tho I knew it wouldn't be getting put on for a good while...but Monday the car is finally going to the body shop!
