Just washed and Waxed!!!

Well I spent all day Friday cleaning my car. I used a clay bar, swirl remover and then wax. I think it came out pretty good. There are still quite a few swirl marks though but nothing like before. The front bumper paint is pretty messed up also.

Nice ride indeed! I'm usually not a fan of pin stripes but they look clean in your picture. Just a couple of things:

Get some FTP's
Time for new wheels

Hey, awesome pictures and shine. The car looks great!

Any chance you could share which products you used? Did you apply by hand? I just bought an 87, and it got pretty dirtied over a 2,000 mile auto carrier transport so I'm looking to give it a nice clean and wax soon. Been reading up on different products, but wondering what you used/recommend, looks nice.

Thanks.

I used Meguiars Clay bar kit, Meguiars swirl remover and Meguiars Cleaner wax on top. All applied by hand with microfiber pads and wiped off with microfiber towels. It took the majority of my day about 6hrs. Thanks for the comments. Its been a long project with alot of money and upsets along the way but its finally to a point where i can just go get in it and drive it and have fun. Everytime i hit boost it makes the past few years worth it.
