Just Checkin'

Is there some unwritten rule that as soon as you fix something on your 2nd Gen, something else is automatically required to break?
I realize that I'm dealing with 26+ year old parts and that the PO probably didn't do everything to he could have to make my life easier but, jeez!
Every time I turn around, in the words of Rosanna Danna, "It's always something!"
Today, my left headlight quit opening up..........shoot me!
